Sweepstakes Rules
AcornFun Casino is a sweepstakes social casino operated by Jupiter Studio Limited. It presents casino-style games in two separate modes: an entertainment mode using Gold Coins and a promotional sweepstakes mode using a redeemable promotional currency.
On the current AcornFun homepage, the promotional currency may be shown as “Swift Coins.” In AcornFun’s legal Terms of Service (Version 12.3, updated July 7, 2026), the redeemable promotional currency is called “Sweeps Coins.” For practical purposes, Swift Coins are the player-facing label for the same sweepstakes-style promotional play, while “Sweeps Coins” is the rules-based term that applies to eligibility, playthrough, and prize redemption.
Gold Coins are strictly for entertainment play. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for prizes.
Eligibility: Age Rules You Must Meet Before Playing
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority where you’re located - whichever is higher. If your jurisdiction requires you to be older than 18 to participate in promotional sweepstakes-style play, that higher age applies.
AcornFun can require age verification, especially before allowing prize redemption.
Where AcornFun Is Available (and Where It Isn’t)
AcornFun is aimed at eligible users in the United States and Canada, but access depends on where you are physically located when you play and what local laws allow.
Restricted locations in the United States
Under the July 2026 Terms, AcornFun lists these restricted states:
Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Washington.
If you’re physically located in one of these states, you’re not eligible for the standard AcornFun service described in the Terms.
Restricted locations in Canada
AcornFun restricts participation in Ontario and Québec. Other Canadian jurisdictions may be eligible, but you’re still responsible for following the rules that apply where you access the platform.
Special rule for California and New York: Surprise Coins (non-redeemable)
California and New York use a different setup. Instead of the usual redeemable Sweeps Coins model, players use Gold Coins and a separate currency called Surprise Coins.
Surprise Coins are for Standard Play only, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be redeemed for prizes. In other words, California and New York do not use the typical sweepstakes prize redemption flow tied to Sweeps Coins.
Account Registration Rules That Can Get You Disqualified
A single player account is required. Your account details need to be accurate and kept up to date, including your name and other identifying information used for verification.
A common reason sweepstakes accounts get flagged is mismatched identity or payment details. AcornFun’s rules also require that the payment methods used for Gold Coin purchases belong to the account holder, and the name on the payment method must match your registered account information.
How Gold Coins Work (Entertainment Play Only)
Gold Coins are the platform’s entertainment currency. You can use them across the game library, including slot-style titles and other casino-style games, but they do not convert into cash prizes and cannot be redeemed.
Gold Coin packages can be purchased in US dollars using methods that may include ACH, bank account options, credit cards like Visa and MasterCard, and online wallets such as PayPal, depending on what’s available to you at checkout.
Gold Coins may also expire if an account becomes dormant, defined as no login or logout activity for more than 12 consecutive months.
How Sweeps Coins (Swift Coins) Work in Promotional Sweepstakes Play
Sweeps Coins are defined in the Terms as sweepstakes entries used for Promotional Play. This is the mode connected to prize-oriented promotions where permitted.
A key rule is that Sweeps Coins cannot be purchased directly. They may be provided through promotional mechanisms, including when included as a free bonus with a Gold Coin package. Buying Gold Coins is a purchase of entertainment currency - any Sweeps Coins attached to that package are promotional and provided separately.
Ways to Get Sweeps Coins (Including Free Methods of Entry)
AcornFun describes multiple ways to receive Sweeps Coins, including options that do not require a purchase. Depending on the active promotions and your eligibility, Sweeps Coins may be received through:
- Free signup allocations
- Promotional rewards and platform events
- Bonus Sweeps Coins included with Gold Coin purchases (as a promotion, not a direct sale)
- Alternative free-entry methods
- Gameplay rewards
Because AcornFun states “no purchase is necessary,” free methods of entry are intended to be available for promotional participation where permitted. Availability and instructions for alternative free-entry methods can be tied to the active promotional terms, so it’s smart to review the in-account promotion details before you plan your play.
No Purchase Necessary: What It Actually Means Here
You can create an account and participate in free gameplay without buying Gold Coins. AcornFun positions the site as a promotional gaming platform, not a traditional real-money gambling service, and emphasizes that Sweeps Coins are promotional entries rather than purchased gambling chips.
Also note the sweepstakes standard language: promotional games are void where prohibited by law. That matters because even if you can access the site, you still must be in an eligible location for the promotional mode and prize redemption features to apply.
Promotions, Tournaments, Races, and Other Ways Rewards Show Up
AcornFun’s promotions can rotate, change, or be withdrawn based on the active campaign. Promotional activity may include daily rewards, jackpots, short-format tournaments (the platform advertises four tournaments per day, about two hours each), AcornFun Races (leaderboard-style events), Daily Coin Back promotions (historically advertised up to 200 promotional coins, with rates that can vary), and loyalty-style benefits through AcornFun Club.
Referral promotions may also exist through Refer & Earn, with reward amounts depending on current terms.
Because promotional conditions can vary, don’t assume every Sweeps Coin grant has identical requirements. When a promo has extra rules, those promo terms control.
Playthrough Rules: When Sweeps Coins Become Redeemable
AcornFun’s standard playthrough for Sweeps Coins is 1x. That means Sweeps Coins typically need to be played through at least once before they can be eligible for prize redemption.
There’s an important exception: the Terms allow higher playthrough requirements on selected promotional Sweeps Coins, up to a maximum of 20x, as long as the increased requirement is connected to the applicable promotion. If you’re playing a special offer, check the promo details so you know whether the playthrough is 1x or higher before you plan a redemption.
Sweeps Coins Expiration (and Why Logging In Matters)
Sweeps Coins expire after 90 days from your last login. If you want to keep your promotional balance available, staying active matters - even a simple log in can help prevent time-based loss of unused Sweeps Coins.
Prize Redemption Basics: Minimums, Limits, and Timing
Prize redemption is not automatic. It’s typically available only after required playthrough is satisfied, your eligibility is confirmed, and your account passes verification checks.
Key redemption rules listed in AcornFun’s Terms include:
- Minimum redemption: 100 Sweeps Coins
- Standard daily redemption limit: up to $10,000 per day
- Redemption frequency: one redemption request per account per day
- Processing time: cash redemptions may take up to 10 business days
For transactions above $10,000, AcornFun may apply additional bank, fraud, or security checks. In those situations, processing can take up to seven additional days depending on the circumstances.
AcornFun may also offer other prize forms depending on the promotion, so “redemption” doesn’t always have to mean cash in every promotional event.
Where Redemptions Go: Payment Method Rules You Can’t Ignore
Cash prizes are generally paid to the same payment mechanism used to purchase Gold Coins. When that’s not technically possible, another account owned by you may be used, but it must still be in your name and successfully verified.
Third-party accounts are not accepted. If your bank account, card, or wallet is not legally owned by you - or doesn’t match your registration information - redemptions can be delayed, declined, or reversed.
Verification and Identity Checks (KYC): What AcornFun May Ask For
Before redeeming prizes, AcornFun may require verification steps designed for identity and fraud prevention. Checks can include identity verification, account ownership confirmation, payment method verification, and bank account ownership verification. The Terms also reference fraud prevention and anti-money laundering-style reviews.
If anything doesn’t line up - name mismatch, unclear ownership, inconsistent location data, or suspicious activity patterns - AcornFun can request more information or pause redemption processing until checks are complete.
Prohibited Activities That Trigger Suspension, Voided Rewards, or Disqualification
AcornFun’s rules prohibit behavior that undermines fair promotional play, promo integrity, or payment safety. Activities that can lead to account suspension, disqualification, or loss of promotional eligibility include:
Multiple-account abuse, bots or automated gameplay, fraud, money laundering, chargeback abuse, identity sharing, promotion abuse, group bonus exploitation, sharing verification documents, manipulating special promotional links, or any attempt to misrepresent identity, location, or payment ownership.
Even if a specific tactic isn’t listed word-for-word, conduct that attempts to bypass eligibility restrictions or promotional limits can still be treated as a violation.
Fraud Prevention and Chargebacks: Extra Notes for ACH and Card Payments
Because Gold Coin purchases can be made through cards, wallets, or ACH-style electronic banking, the platform may apply additional scrutiny to payments that are returned, reversed, disputed, or flagged.
For ACH purchases specifically, AcornFun notes that returned ACH transactions may carry a handling fee of up to $25. Repeated returns or disputes can also affect your ability to purchase Gold Coins or redeem prizes.
Customer Support for Rules and Account Questions
If you need clarification about eligibility, promotions, verification, or redemption status, AcornFun lists support options including live chat and email. You can also reach support at support@acornfuncasino.com, or by phone at +1-888-589-1849.
For the latest policy wording, it’s also worth checking the legal pages referenced by the operator, including the Terms of Service and any in-account promotional terms tied to a specific offer.
Using sweepstakes platforms should stay recreational - set limits that match your budget, take breaks when you need them, and treat promotional play as entertainment rather than a way to make money.
